eqiora.viewer

← Python API index

Interactive, read-only views of geometry, meshes, and fields.

View source

In a notebook, continue with geometry and mesh from the meshing example:

python
from eqiora.viewer import View
view = View().add(geometry).add(mesh)
view.show()

The view draws the geometry with its mesh on top. Add a field output to color the mesh by its values; the view only displays data and never changes the model or result. Call view.close() when you are done. In Colab, first follow the notebook preparation steps.

A disposable scene showing Eqiora values.

python
class View:
def __init__(self) -> None: ...
def add(self, value: Geometry | Mesh | FieldOutput | DerivedFieldSnapshot, /) -> Self: ...
def show(self) -> Self: ...
def close(self) -> None: ...
def __enter__(self) -> Self: ...
def __exit__(self, *_exc: object) -> None: ...
def __repr__(self) -> str: ...
