Enum UnaryMathFunction
#[non_exhaustive]pub enum UnaryMathFunction {
Sin,
Sqrt,
Cos,
Exp,
Log,
Conj,
Real,
Imag,
Abs,
Abs2,
Arg,
}Description
Dimension-aware unary mathematical function.
Kept separate from ExprNode so that adding a function does not need a new
node variant. Whole-model validation checks each function’s dimensional rules.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Sin
Sine of a dimensionless scalar.
Sqrt
Real nonnegative or principal complex square root; halves dimensions.
Cos
Cosine of a dimensionless scalar.
Exp
Exponential of a dimensionless scalar.
Log
Natural logarithm, with the principal branch for complex input.
Conj
Complex conjugate, preserving dimension and scalar domain.
Real
Explicit real component, preserving dimension.
Imag
Explicit imaginary component, preserving dimension.
Abs
Real magnitude, preserving dimension.
Abs2
Squared real magnitude, squaring dimension.
Arg
Principal dimensionless phase; zero amplitude is undefined.
Implementations§
§impl UnaryMathFunction
impl UnaryMathFunction
pub fn evaluate(self, value: &ValueLiteral) -> Result<ValueLiteral, Diagnostic>
pub fn evaluate(self, value: &ValueLiteral) -> Result<ValueLiteral, Diagnostic>
Evaluate one finite typed scalar with the canonical domain and branch rules. Real roots/logarithms never promote invalid real inputs to complex values. Complex roots/logarithms use the principal branch; zero phase is rejected.
