BoundaryPhysicalConnector

Struct BoundaryPhysicalConnector

pub struct BoundaryPhysicalConnector { /* private fields */ }
Description

Closed, mesh-independent contract of one field-valued physical connector.

The exact nominal identity is supplied by the owning Domain node. One shared shape is sufficient because v1 Euclidean boundary duality pairs equal component spaces. Support and outward orientation belong to Ports, not to this reusable nominal contract.

Implementations§

§

impl BoundaryPhysicalConnector

pub fn new( trace_dimension: DimExponents, flux_dimension: DimExponents, shape: ValueShape, frame: ValueFrame, pairing: BoundaryPairing, ) -> Result<BoundaryPhysicalConnector, BoundaryPhysicalViolation>

Construct one exact trace/flux dual pair.

§Errors

Returns BoundaryPhysicalViolation::UnrepresentableComponents when the exact shape’s scalar component product exceeds local usize.

pub const fn trace_dimension(&self) -> DimExponents

Trace-quantity SI dimension.

pub const fn flux_dimension(&self) -> DimExponents

Outward-flux SI dimension.

pub const fn shape(&self) -> &ValueShape

Exact common component shape.

pub const fn frame(&self) -> ValueFrame

Coordinate-frame meaning of components.

pub const fn pairing(&self) -> BoundaryPairing

Closed boundary dual pairing.
